Mission Statement

From its beginning in 1929 through its many transitions the chamber has, like the Phoenix, risen in new forms to serve our ever-changing community. The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of business for our County; striving to serve its members, focused on business, tourism, workforce education and economic stability.

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce is the visionary leader of the county providing partnership opportunities for business, community and government.

In furtherance of the Mission Statement, the Vision Statement will drive the long-range direction and strategic plan of the organization in the future. It reads as follows:

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce will continue to be the leading voice of business and economic development in Catoosa County

Organizational Goals

We will make decisions that will strategically position the organization and the business community to contribute effectively to a positive entrepreneurial climate and management of a changing market place.

Objectives

To guide in the accomplishment of this mission, five basic objectives have been established as the basis for programming and policy decisions of the organization.

• Provide support services and systems to benefit the members of the Chamber and consistently represent and advocate the best interests of the members of the organization
• Seek to achieve partnerships to future economic development and a healthy and positive business climate.
• Facilitate the area's ability to expand and enhance employment opportunities.
• Promote the overall quality of life and standard of living for the total community.
• Promote the rich human, natural, technological and man made resourses of Catoosa County and our region to further enhanceeconomic opportunities.
