The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce partners with THE COUNCIL ON ALCOHOL AND DRUGS through Georgia's Drugs Don’t Work Program to provide the information and training necessary for certification to receive the 7.5% annual discount. Membership in the Chamber's Drugs Don't Work Program ("DDW") delivers all of these services to you at a cost of $99 annually. DDW Application 

Application for certification through Georgia's State Board of Workers' Compensation is available through their website at www.sbwc.georgia.gov and must be renewed annualy. Applicaiton and payment should be sent to to the Georgia Drug-Free Workplace Program with payment of $35. Keep Certificate on file and provide a copy to the Chamber’s Drugs Don’t Work Coordinator.

Q: “Do I have to drug test all of my employees?
A: No, only new hires, after accidents, on reasonable suspicion and post treatment. 

Q: "Do I have to fire an employee who tests positive for drugs?”
A: No, you may fire an employee, or refer them to treatment. 

Q: “Can I afford the drug testing costs?”
A: Only limited drug testing is required, and the Drugs Don’t Work Program offers discounted rates. 

Q:  “It’s hard to find workers now.  Will this limit the pool of workers I can draw from?”
A:  If you choose to do so, you may limit the positions you test for, to safety sensitive. 

Q:  “Where can I get technical help with certification?”
A:  The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce Drugs Don’t Work coordinators will assist you.
